Vestar Capital Partners Promotes Brendan Spillane

New York, February 18, 2008 – Vestar Capital Partners, a leading international private equity firm, announced the promotion of Brendan J. Spillane to Executive Vice President and Corporate Chief Financial Officer.

Spillane joined Vestar in 2006 from SV Investment Partners, the U.S. affiliate of Schroeder Ventures, where he was the CFO. Prior to that he served as CFO of Schafer Capital Management after starting his career in the audit practice of Price Waterhouse. Spillane holds a BS from Manhattan College and is a Certified Public Accountant.
